นายบรู๊ซ ชู (Bruce Xu) ผู้จัดการโครงการ อาร์เอ็กซ์ เกรทเทอร์ ไชน่า เปิดเผยว่า รัฐบาลเมืองเสิ่นเจิ้น และ RX ได้เตรียมจัดงาน Automotive World China หรือ AWC 2023 งานแสดงด้านการผลิตยานยนต์ ที่ครอบคลุมห่วงโซ่อุปทานทั้งยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่และยานยนต์สันดาป ขึ้นในวันที่ 11-13 ตุลาคมนี้ จัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด Define the future of Automotive Manufacturing หรือการกำหนดอนาคตการผลิตยานยนต์ โดยจะมีผู้แสดงสินค้ากว่า 500 แบรนด์ รวมทั้งผู้นำในวงการอย่าง BYD, Siemens, Bosch, Valeo, Neolithic, Autosar, Fivotai, HAN’S LASER, AutoX เป็นต้น ในงานจะเน้นด้านเทคโนโลยีและโซลูชั่นสำหรับยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่หรือ NEV และยานยนต์สันดาป หรือ ICV เช่น ชิปสำหรับแผงวงจรและอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ วัสดุมวลเบา และโรงงานอัจฉริยะ จัดขึ้นเพื่อช่วยให้ผู้ผลิตยานยนต์ได้ค้นพบนวัตกรรมแอปพลิเคชั่น ระบบอัตโนมัติอัจฉริยะสำหรับการผลิตยานยนต์ และห่วงโซ่อุปทาน เพื่อให้สามารถผลิตยานยนต์ NEV และ ICV ได้อย่างมีขีดความสามารถทางการแข่งขันในโลกที่กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว
จากการที่จีนเป็นศูนย์กลางการผลิตยานยนต์และตลาดผู้ใช้ยานยนต์ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลกมาอย่างต่อเนื่องนานถึง 14 ปี เพราะการผลิตยานยนต์ของจีนไม่ได้ผลิตใช้ในประเทศเท่านั้น แต่จีนได้ส่งออกไปจำหน่ายทั่วโลก ไตรมาสแรกของปีนี้ จีนได้กลายเป็นประเทศส่งออกยานยนต์ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก โดยส่งออกทั้งหมด 1,070,000 คัน เป็นยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่ 248,000 คัน ซึ่งในส่วนของตลาดยานยนต์สันดาป รถที่จีนผลิตนั้นไม่ได้มีอะไรที่โดดเด่นหรือแตกต่างไปกว่าในเรื่องของแบรนด์ เทคโนโลยี และคุณภาพ แต่หากพูดถึงยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่ หรือ NEV (New Energy Vehicle) จีนมีการพัฒนาและเติบโตไปอย่างรวดเร็ว และมีอัตราการเติบโตมากกว่ารถยนต์สันดาป โดยสมาคมผู้ผลิตยานยนต์จีนรายงานว่า ในปี 2565 จีนมีการผลิตยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่ 7,058,000 คัน มียอดขาย 6,887,000 คัน นับเป็นการเติบโตสูงถึง 97% และ 94% เมื่อเทียบกับปีก่อนหน้าตามลำดับ ซึ่งการพัฒนาการผลิตยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่ของจีนนั้น เพราะผู้บริโภคทางเอเชียมองว่ารถยนต์คือส่วนต่อขยายของบ้าน จึงต้องการความสะดวกสบายและประสบการณ์การขับขี่ที่อัจฉริยะขึ้น ทำให้จีนต้องพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีด้าน AI และการขับขี่อัตโนมัติอย่างต่อเนื่อง 
งาน AWC 2023 จะเป็นงานที่รวมผู้แสดงสินค้าชั้นนำในอุตสาหกรรมที่ครบครันที่สุด โดยจะมีการสาธิตและทดลองขับ (test drive) ยานยนต์บนถนนจริง เพื่อเป็นการสาธิตความเป็นเลิศทางเทคโนโลยี นอกจากนั้น ยังจะมีการจัดสัมมนากว่า 20 หัวข้อ โดยผู้นำทางความคิดในอุตสาหกรรมที่จะมาร่วมแบ่งปันวิสัยทัศน์และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับอนาคตของการผลิตยานยนต์ คาดว่าจะมีนักอุตสาหกรรมเข้าร่วมงานกว่า 30,000 รายจากทั่วโลก ประกอบไปด้วยผู้รับผลิตยานยนต์และชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ รวมทั้งผู้ออกแบบระบบ ผู้ร่วมงานชาวต่างชาติกว่า 1,500 รายจากเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ และยุโรป โดยเชื่อว่าจะมีการพบปะพูดคุยเพื่อเจรจาทางธุรกิจหลายพันคู่ที่จะก่อให้เกิดความร่วมมือและการลงทุนในอตสาหกรรม NEV และ ICV

RX China Invites Thai Automotive Businesses to Attend ‘Automotive World China 2023‘ in October, Shenzhen, to Foster China-Thailand Cooperation regarding NEV
RX China is moving forward with promoting China-Thailand cooperation in the NEV (New Energy Vehicle) market. Thai automobile manufacturers are more than welcome to visit the grand event, Automotive World China 2023, in Shenzhen on 11 – 13 October 2023
Mr. Bruce Xu, Project manager of RX Greater China, revealed that the government of Shenzhen City and RX have jointly prepared for the Automotive World China, or AWC 2023, the automotive manufacturing event covering the entire new energy vehicles (NEV) and internal combustion vehicles (ICV) industry chain. The event will take place from October 11th to 13th and is themed “Define the future of Automotive Manufacturing.” It will feature over 500 exhibitors, including industry leaders such as BYD, Siemens, Bosch, Valeo, Neolithic, Autosar, Fivotai, HAN’S LASER, and AutoX. The focus of the exhibition will be on technology and solutions for NEVs and ICVs, from components such as IC chips and electronics devices, lightweight materials to manufacturing line and smart factories. The event aims to help automotive manufacturers discover innovative applications, upgrade smart automation manufacturing capacity, optimize the supply chain, and build highly competitive NEVs and ICVs products in the fast-evolving market.
China has been the leading center for automobile production and the largest automotive consumer market in the world for 14 consecutive years. This is because China’s automobile production is not only for domestic use but also for export worldwide. In the first quarter of this year, China became the largest exporter of vehicles globally, exporting a total of 1,070,000 units, including 248,000 units of new energy vehicles (NEVs). In terms of the ICV market, Chinese-manufactured cars do not stand out or differ significantly in terms of brands, technology, and quality. But when it comes to NEVs, China has been rapidly developing and growing, with a higher growth rate than conventional vehicles. According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the year 2023, China produced 7,058,000 NEVs, with sales of 6,887,000 units, representing a significant growth of 97% and 94%, respectively, compared to the previous year. The development of China’s NEV production is driven by Asian consumers’ perception that cars are an extension of their homes, thus demanding convenience and intelligent driving experiences. This has led China to develop AI technology and continuous advancements in autonomous driving.
AWC 2023 will be the most comprehensive exhibition that brings together leading exhibitors in the industry. It will feature live demonstrations and test drives of vehicles on real roads to showcase technological excellence. In addition, there will be over 20 seminar topics where industry thought leaders will share their visions and inspire the future of automotive manufacturing. It is expected that more than 30,000 industry professionals from around the world will participate in the event, including vehicle manufacturers, automotive component suppliers, system designers, and over 1,500 international participants from East Asia, Japan, Republic of Korea, and Europe. It is anticipated that business negotiations and discussions will take place among numerous partners, fostering collaborations and investments in the NEV and ICV industry.
Thai participants will find that AWC 2023 aims to promote negotiations and cooperation between Thai and Chinese industry professionals. It will serve as a business platform for participants to discover products from Tier 1 or Tier 2 component manufacturers, allowing them to strengthen their supply chains and explore collaboration opportunities. Within the event, there will be activities specifically designed for Thai participants, such as Thailand Country Day, where Thai authorities will present an overview of the Thai market to facilitate international collaboration opportunities. Additionally, the Thailand Board of Investment may present investment policies in Thailand to the Chinese industry, and there will be opportunities for factory visits to explore manufacturing facilities.
AWC 2023 will be held at the Shenzhen New International Expo Center in Shenzhen, China, from October 11th to 13th, 2023.
